30-year-old Florensia Linares of 29th Avenue N.E. in Hickory has been arrested by Hickory Police on charges of assault & battery, injury to real property, and resisting a public officer. Probation & Parole Officers also charged her with a felony probation violation. Linares is on probation following a September 2022 conviction in Davidson County on felony counts of common law robbery and breaking & entering with intent to terrorize or injure.

Linares was jailed today (May 19) in the Catawba County Detention Facility with bond set at $5,000. She remained in jail as of late this afternoon. Linares will appear in District Court Monday (May 22) in Newton. A Superior Court appearance on the probation violation was also scheduled on the same date.
