Hickory Woman Arrested At Morganton Residence, Various Drugs Seized By Police

36-year-old Jessyca Alicia Pearson of South Center Street in Hickory was arrested Monday (November 20) by Morganton Public Safety Officers. She’s charged with felony counts of possession of schedule I controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of schedule II controlled substance along with misdemeanor counts of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Pearson was arrested shortly after 10 p.m. Monday at an address on Amherst Road in Morganton. According to the report filed on the arrest, during the investigation, police seized 4.8 grams of meth, six dosage units of ecstasy, 7.1 grams of fentanyl, and six grams of marijuana. Pearson was brought to the Burke County Jail.

As of earlier today (November 22), Pearson remained in jail under $15,000 secured bond. She was scheduled to make her first court appearance Tuesday (November 21). According to the North Carolina Judicial Branch website, her next District Court date is scheduled for December 11.
