54-year-old Robert Steven Hawkins of Roger Hill Road in Connelly Springs was arrested by Hickory Police Officers. He’s charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and alter or remove a gun serial number. Hawkins was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility this morning (February 1) under $1,200 bond. A District Court date was scheduled today.
