Hickory Motor Speedway Announces 2021 Schedule

Hickory Motor Speedway has just released their schedule for the 2021 race season, and it is packed full of excitement. The Historic Race Track will open up their 71st season of racing on March 6th, 2021 with our season opening blowout event, and the track will once again be headlined each week with the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Series Late Models.

Paramount Auto Group will return as the title sponsor for the Paramount Auto Group Limited Late Models and Paramount KIA will return for the popular Paramount KIA “Big 10” Racing Challenge, which provides 10 races with feature events that provide additional purse money and a championship of its own.

Hickory Motor Speedway will continue promoting events for the Paramount Auto Group Limited Late Models, Street Stocks, Super Trucks, 4-Cylinders, and the Renegades during their weekly events, with the return of the Carolina Pro Late Model Series and an added division for 6 events with the Carolina Pro Crate Modified Series.

The PASS Super Late Models will return to America’s Most Famous Short Track in 2021, including the Easter Bunny 150 providing a double header event on April 2nd and 3rd, 2021.

The track will play host to the Cars Racing Tour again in 2021 with two dates. The Cars Racing Tour has had a long history at The Birthplace of the NASCAR Stars and will return on March 20th and July 31st for the popular Throwback Series event.

The Knights of Destruction will return with three events beginning on May 15th and is sure to deliver excitement and thrills for all that attend. This event provides a fun filled night of special racing including a school bus race, skid plate race, chain race, and much more. The second event will be July 2nd and 3rd with Monster Truck Madness, and the third event will be Oct. 2nd and will prove to be just as exciting.

The newly formed FASS Big Rig Series will be making an appearance on April 24th with Semi-Truck racing returning to Hickory Motor Speedway and an encore event on Oct. 23rd.

The season will also include the running of the Paramount Auto Group Bobby Isaac Memorial race on Saturday, September 4th of the Labor Day weekend, a very special tradition at the legendary track, honoring the late Bobby Isaac. The Calico Coatings Fall Brawl will be held on October 16th which is a 200-lap feature special event for the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Series Late Models, 100-lap Paramount Auto Group Limited Late Model, and more.

The SunDown Audio Competition will return on Aug. 14th featuring elaborate car stereos from around the United States.

We are presently working with a few divisions/series to be secured and some events to be announced later, but several of our sponsors have already secured their dates for 2021 at The Birthplace of the NASCAR Stars. This is a tentative schedule and could be subject to minimal changes.

Ticket prices will remain the same in 2021 (excluding special events) for weekly NASCAR events ($12.50 for adults, $10.50 for seniors and teens, with kids 12 and under free).

Hickory Motor Speedway will remain open for testing throughout the off season. Tires and fuel will be available at the track.

As we await the scanning for iRacing, there is still time to get your billboard and marketing ready. Hickory Motor Speedway management will continue to work hard for the sponsors, fans, and competitors, to provide a level field of competition and great entertainment in a family oriented atmosphere. We look forward to seeing everyone at the track in 2021.
