33-year-old Marcus Maurice Luckey of 10th Avenue S.E. in Hickory was served with true bills of indictment last Saturday (February 25) by Hickory Police on two counts of possession of a firearm by a felon.

Luckey was taken into custody without incident at about 6:45 p.m. Saturday at his residence. He was processed at the Hickory Police Department and later released under a $20,000 unsecured bond. An appearance in Superior Court was scheduled last Monday (February 27) in Newton with another Superior Court date set for March 20.

Luckey will also appear in Superior Court on April 3 for felony larceny of a firearm and misdemeanor larceny, and he has a District Court date coming up on April 26 on felony counts of possession of a firearm by a felon and possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver marijuana.
