HICKORY, N.C. (WHKY) – A 55-year-old Hickory man was arrested Wednesday (August 6) on multiple charges. The allegations are from Burke County.

According to records at the Catawba County Detention Facility, Larry Michael Johnson of 23rd Street NW in Hickory is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and surrender on a felony charge of fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle.

Johnson was placed in jail under a total bond of $17,000. He is scheduled to appear in Burke County District Court on August 24.
