24-year-old Paul Neel Teague II of 28th Street Place NE in Hickory was arrested today (March 23) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. Teague is listed as a felon as a result of convictions in Burke and Catawba Counties in 2021 and 2022 for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and felony possession of schedule II controlled substance. Following today’s arrest, Teague was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $10,000 bond. A District Court date is set for Friday (March 24).
