43-year-old Christopher Durand Myers of 3rd Street Place S.W. in Hickory was arrested by Hickory Police early Saturday morning (March 4) on an outstanding felony warrant and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. The felony warrant was for a probation violation and was issued by the U.S. Marshals Service in August of last year.

Myers was taken into custody without incident at about 6:15 a.m. Saturday at an apartment on 12th Avenue S.E. in Hickory. He was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility where he is being held without bond on the felony warrant. Bond was set at $1,200, secured, on the misdemeanor charge. Myers remained in jail as of this afternoon. No court dates are currently scheduled.
