37-year-old Bryon Austin Locke of 27th Street N.E. in Hickory has been arrested by Hickory Police on charges of possession of methamphetamine and resisting a public officer. In addition, he was served with orders for arrest in connection with a 2021 case. He faces charges for possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver meth and simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance.

Locke was jailed this morning (May 23) in the Catawba County Detention Facility with bond set at $30,000. Appearances in District & Superior court were scheduled today in Newton.
