25-year-old Jamil Davario Danner of 9th Street S.W. in Hickory has been arrested by Hickory Police on a charge of assault by strangulation. Danner was jailed today (July 31) in the Catawba County Detention Facility with bond set at $10,000. He’ll make a first appearance in District Court tomorrow in Newton.
