25-year-old Shamel Lauque Lineberger of East 1st Street in Hickory was arrested by Newton Police Officers. He’s charged with felony counts of possession of a firearm by a felon and flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle. Lineberger was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility this morning (April 29) under $2,000 bond. A District Court date was scheduled today.
