25-year-old Julius Quinton Carson of 10th Avenue S.E. in Hickory has been arrested by Hickory Police on felony counts of first-degree forcible sex offense, larceny, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and possession of a firearm by a felon. Carson was jailed yesterday (May 16) in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $360,000 bond. He remained in jail as of this morning. A first appearance in District Court was scheduled today in Newton.
