Hickory Man Faces Multiple Felony Charges in Lincoln County & Elsewhere
44-year-old Kevin Wayne Crider of Hickory has been arrested and faces charges in Lincoln County for felony larceny, two counts of breaking & entering a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, possession of stolen goods, failure to appear, three counts of felony larceny, two counts of injury to personal property, two counts of first-degree trespassing, three felony counts of possession of stolen goods, and injury to real property. He was also charged with a probation violation. He was charged yesterday (March 9) by Lincoln County Sheriff’s Detectives.
On March 4 and March 5, multiple business properties in Denver were broken into. Detectives developed Crider as the suspect. They found him at a residence in Catawba County on March 8. The suspect fled the scene on foot, but was apprehended a short time later by Catawba County Deputies.
Crider was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility and then transferred to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office where he was served with a number of warrants. He was jailed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $106,500 secured bond. He was also placed on a no bond hold for Forsyth County. Crider has District Court dates on March 30 in Lincoln County and on March 31 in Forsyth. He also has pending court dates in Brunswick and Iredell counties.
