33-year-old Todd Lee Hefner of 14th Street S.W. in Hickory was arrested by Hickory Police Wednesday (May 24) on one count of felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance (methamphetamine).

Hefner was taken into custody at about 5:25 p.m. Wednesday at the office of Adult Probation & Parole on 26th Street S.E. in Hickory. He was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility with bond set at $2,000, secured. He has since been released. Hefner was scheduled to make a first appearance in District Court yesterday (May 25) in Newton with his next court date coming up on June 15.
