24-year-old Nicholas Troy Conley of 1st Avenue Street SE in Hickory was arrested Thursday (July 21) by authorities in Catawba County. He’s charged with felony probation violation. Conley is on probation as a result of a June, 2020 conviction in Catawba County for indecent liberties with a child. Conley was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility following Thursday’s arrest without bond. No court date was listed.
