42-year-old James Joseph Haskins Of Airport Rhodhiss Road in Hickory was arrested Wednesday (October 25) by Burke County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with ten felony counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Haskins was arrested at 1 p.m. Wednesday at his residence and was brought to the Burke County Jail. He was initially jailed under a 48-hour hold or until the first judge became available. Bond has since been set at $300,000 secured. Haskins remained in jail as of earlier today (October 26). He was scheduled to appear in District Court in Morganton today.
