CONOVER, N.C. (WHKY) – 20-year-old Maleik Trevor Kennedy of Hickory is facing multiple charges following an investigation by the Conover Police Department.

According to arrest records, Kennedy was charged with assault by strangulation and assault on a female.

Kennedy was arrested Saturday (August 8) and is scheduled to appear in Catawba County District Court Monday (August 10).
