Hickory Man Charged With Multiple Offenses By Three Agencies

38-year-old Nathaniel Breon Wilson, Jr. of 7th Street Drive SE in Hickory was arrested Tuesday (January 3) on charges filed by three agencies. The Hickory Police Department charged Wilson with felony possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce, and resisting a public officer. Probation & Parole filed felony counts of larceny and probation violation against Wilson. The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office charged him with two counts of failure to appear for non-support of a child.

Wilson is on probation as a result of a conviction in February, 2022 in Catawba County for felony larceny. He received probation and a 36 month suspended sentence. Following Tuesday’s arrest, Wilson was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $19,500 bond. He was scheduled to appear in District Court today (January 4). Wilson has a Civil District Court date Thursday (January 5), and a Superior Court appearance is set for next Monday (January 9).
