32-year-old Benjamin Lee Crews of 1st Street NW in Hickory was arrested Wednesday (March 8) by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with possession of methamphetamine and also faces a child support count. Crews was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $1,650 bond. A District Court date was scheduled today (March 9), a Civil District Court date is set for June 16.
