HICKORY, N.C. (WHKY) – A man was arrested Thursday and charged with a theft offense.

According to information from the Catawba County Detention Facility, 29-year-old Torrance Ghent Jr., of 20th Avenue Drive Northeast in Hickory, was taken into custody September 3.

Ghent was charged with felony larceny and was scheduled to appear in Newton District Court today (September 4).
