A Hickory man is facing multiple charges following a Tuesday (June 30) arrest by the Hickory Police Department.

According to arrest records, 45-year-old Jerimi Meshon Sims of 8th Avenue Drive SW was charged with felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of up to one-half ounce of marijuana, and resisting a public officer.

No bond amount was listed in the arrest records. Sims was scheduled to make a first appearance Tuesday in Catawba County District Court.
