44-year-old Jorge Leon-Miranda of 1st Avenue SW in Hickory was arrested Monday (March 20) by Long View Police Officers. He’s charged with failure to appear on two counts of felony probation violation and one count of possession of methamphetamine. Leon-Miranda is also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Following the arrest, Leon-Miranda was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $75,000 bond. A Superior Court date is set for April 20.
