32-year-old Robert Mitchell Lester of 22nd Avenue Place NE in Hickory was arrested Thursday (February 16) by Newton Police Officers. He’s charged with felony attempted common law robbery. Lester was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $5,000 bond. A District Court date was scheduled today (February 17).
