42-year-old Steven Chad Lawrence of 11th Street SW in Hickory was arrested Wednesday (April 19) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with one count felony larceny by removing, destroying, or deactivating a component of an anti shoplifting or inventory control device and jailed under $10,000 secured bond. Lawrence was not listed in the Caldwell County Detention Center as of earlier today with a District Court date scheduled for April 20.
