44-year-old Randy Lewis Watts of 3rd Avenue Place SE in Hickory was arrested Tuesday (July 25) by Newton Police Officers. He’s charged with burning a building under construction along with two counts of resisting a public officer. Watts was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $9,000 bond. A District Court appearance was scheduled today (July 26).
