21-year-old Nkosi Pratrik-Jahaad Abernathy of 9th Street S.W. in Hickory has been arrested in Catawba County on two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count each of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon and breaking & entering. The charges date back to last year. Following his arrest, Abernathy was jailed yesterday (July 19) in the Catawba County Detention Facility where he is being held without bond. An appearance in Superior Court was set for July 26 in Newton.
