26-year-old Don Theodore Reedy of 14th Avenue N.E. in Hickory was arrested yesterday (February 9) by Hickory Police on a felony warrant as a fugitive awaiting extradition to another state. Reedy is wanted by the State Bureau of Investigation in Wytheville in Russell County, Virginia for sexual battery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Following his arrest, Reedy was placed in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility where he is being held without bond. A first appearance in District Court was scheduled today in Newton.
