MORGANTON, N.C. (WHKY) – 63-year-old Michael Junior Roland of 12th Street Drive NW in Hickory was arrested Tuesday (August 4) by Valdese Police Officers. He’s charged with first-degree burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, breaking or entering, resisting a public officer, and two counts of injury to real property. Roland was incarcerated in the Burke County Jail under no bond. A Thursday (August 6) court date was scheduled.
