58-year-old Charles Michael Smith of West View Street in Hickory was arrested Tuesday (March 28) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, and misdemeanor possession of stolen property. Smith remains in jail at the Caldwell County Detention Center under $15,000 secured bond and a District Court appearance scheduled for March 29.
