29-year-old Ethan Jordan Kupser of 28th Street N.E. in Hickory has been arrested by Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers on charges of breaking & entering, domestic criminal trespassing, injury to real property, injury to personal property, and communicating threats. He had previously been arrested on June 5 on charges of interfering with an electronic monitoring device, two misdemeanor probation violations, reckless driving with wanton disregard, hit & run leaving the scene of property damage, and failure to report an accident.

Kupser was jailed yesterday (July 19) in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $9,000 bond. An appearance in District Court on the latest charges was scheduled for August 10 in Newton.
