25-year-old Mark Edward Hinson of Meadowbrook Lane in Hickory was arrested by Hickory Police shortly before nine o’clock last Saturday morning (November 14) on one felony count of habitual larceny. He was arrested in connection to a November 12 larceny at the Dollar General store on Highway 70 S.W. in Hickory.

Hinson was taken into custody without incident and placed in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility with bond set at $5,000, secured. He was scheduled to make a first appearance in District Court on November 16 in Newton with his next District Court date coming up on December 7.
