30-year-old Brandon Scott Whisnant of 24th Street S.W. in Hickory has been arrested by Long View Police on charges of breaking & entering and second-degree trespassing. The Catawba Co. Sheriff’s Office also charged Whisnant with injury to personal property. The suspect was jailed Saturday (November 28) in the Catawba Co. Detention Facility with bond set at $6,000. District Court appearances were scheduled for December 7 & 14 in Newton.
