Hickory, Maiden Residents Among 14 Indicted Following Drug Investigation

The Lincoln County Grand Jury indicted 14 people Monday (May 10) in connection to a lengthy Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office undercover drug operation. Narcotics investigators began the operation targeting street level dealers in late 2019 and ending in early 2021. During the investigation, undercover officers purchased crack cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana and opiods.

As a result, the 14 suspects were indicted on various charges including the sale and delivery of a controlled substance, possession with the intent to sell and deliver a controlled substance, and maintaining a dwelling or vehicle for the purpose of storing or selling a controlled substance.

The following suspects were indicted:

32-year-old Devonte Jerille Forney of Hickory is charged with three counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine and two counts of sale and delivery of crack cocaine. 36-year-old Rufus Duran Lynch, Jr. of Maiden was indicted on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine, maintaining a dwelling and vehicle for a controlled substance, and possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana.

The following suspects are all from Lincolnton. 25-year-old Malik Ty Moore is charged with possession with the intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance. 53-year-old Johnna Kaylor Anthony is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, maintaining a dwelling for heroin, and possession with intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine.

32-year-old Justin Wayne Anthony was indicted on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance. He is facing additional counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin. 57-year-old Elizabeth Icenhour York was indicted on several counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule III controlled substance and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.

52-year-old Allen Maurice Asbell is charged with possession with the intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine. 59-year-old David Nixon was indicted on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance. 48-year-old Jerry Jermaine Odom is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.

40-year-old Marcus Eugene Anderson was indicted on several counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine. 37-year-old Steven Shane Hulett was indicted on a charge of sale and delivery of schedule II controlled.

In addition, 40-year-old Steve Robert Ramsey of Crouse was indicted for possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine. 48-year-old Jerry Jermain Odom of Shelby is charged with possession with the intent to sell and deliver heroin and crack cocaine. 44-year-old Tammy Michelle Columbia of Gastonia was indicted on a charge of possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine.
