Hickory High Band to Hold Movie Music Concert

The community is invited to a free evening of musical entertainment with the Hickory High Band. Tomorrow (December 8), the band will perform movie scores in the larger parking lot, near the main entrance to the school. The band will perform music from “Star Wars,” “Jurassic Park,” “E.T.,” “The Hunger Games,” “Twilight,” and “The Pirates of the Caribbean.”

The parking lot will open at 5 p.m. Curbside concessions will be available from 5-to-6 p.m., allowing guests to purchase concessions from their cars. The concert will begin at 6 p.m. All those in attendance are requested to remain in their cars, roll down their windows, and turn off their engines.

Admission is free; however, donations will be accepted. Donations will benefit the Hickory High Band. In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for Thursday evening, December 10.
