Hickory Crawdads Open Series at Bowling Green With Shutout Loss

The Hickory Crawdads powerful offense, fresh off of a 21 run output on Sunday could have used some off those runs Tuesday as they fell on the road to the Bowling Green Hot Rods, 6-0.

Cristian Inoa and Chris Seise combined for four of the Crawdads six team hits. The Hot Rods pitching staff did not allow a Crawdads player to reach base via a walk.

Meanwhile, Bowling Green had four players hit a total of five home runs against Crawdads pitching. In addition, Hickory committed two fielding errors.

The Crawdads are 30-22 on the season. They will stay in Kentucky this week, playing Bowling Green at 12:05 CDT on Wednesday.
