SALISBURY, MD (WHKY) – Due to inclement weather, Tuesday’s July 28 game between the Delmarva Shorebirds and the Hickory Crawdads was postponed in Maryland.

The two teams will now play a doubleheader on Wednesday, July 29, starting at 5:05 PM. Both games will be seven innings long.

Hickory currently leads the South Division of the Carolina League standings, with a four game lead over both Augusta and Charleston, sitting at 21-8 on the second half of the season. Delmarva will enter the series against the Crawdads with a 12-18 record, sitting in fifth place in the North Division of the Carolina League.
