Hickory Crawdads outfielder Evan Carter has been named the South Atlantic League’s Player of the Week after a red-hot performance in Rome.

The 21 year old batted .455 last week in six games at Rome. He had 10 hits, three of which were triples, a home run, eight RBI and with 20 total bases, his on base percentage last week was .571. He also had four stolen bases.
