Hickory City Council met in regular session Tuesday (October 3). Minutes, second readings, and the consent agenda were all approved. Business and Community Development Manager Dave Leonetti gave a presentation on Affordable Housing.

In addition, a Proclamation for Fire Prevention Month was presented by Chief Matt Hutchinson. That is being commemorated from October 8-14, 2023. A member was also appointed to a local board prior to adjournment.
