Hart Square’s Heritage Music Series Kicks Off this Week in Vale

Hart Square’s Heritage Music Series kicks off this Thursday (June 6) and continues every Thursday in June. Performances will begin at 6 p.m. on the Education Center lawn. The series focuses explicitly on original musicians and writers who are inspired by the traditions of the past.

Leading off the series are Viv and Riley, with Ali & Andi as the opening act. Viv and Riley are based on a singer-songwriter tradition and have released multiple albums. The most recent is “Imaginary People,” released last year on Free Dirt Records.

Tickets to individual shows are $15. Supporter Passes are also available for $60. A Supporter Pass provides entry to all four shows in June and allows the Hart Square Foundation to bring regional and national talent to the rural venue.

Food, beer, and wine will be available for purchase at all shows. Those attending are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or quilt. For more, go to and click on the “events” tab. Hart Square is at 5055 Hope Road in Vale.
