52-year-old John David Howell of Falls Avenue in Granite Falls was arrested Monday (November 6) by Granite Falls Police Officers. He was charged with felony speeding to elude arrest and assault by strangulation. Howell was jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Facility under $25,000 secured bond. He remained in jail as of this morning with a District Court date scheduled for November 27.
