NEWTON, N.C. (WHKY) A Caldwell County man was arrested by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office on drug charges.

36-year-old Duane Francis Delehanty, Jr. of Bud Dula Lane in Granite Falls, is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Delehanty was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility without bond following the Thursday (July 30) arrest. A District Court date was scheduled Thursday.
