26-year-old Dallas Michael Murphy of Dry Ponds Road in Granite Falls was arrested Thursday (August 3) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with felony larceny and felony obtaining property by false pretense. Murphy remains in jail at the Caldwell County Detention Facility under $20,000 secured bond and a District Court appearance scheduled for August 7.
