47-year-old William Shane Benge of Woods Drive in Granite Falls was arrested Tuesday (March 28) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, and misdemeanor possession of stolen property. Benge remains in jail as of this morning with a $15,000 secured bond and a District Court date scheduled for March 29.
