46-year-old Robert Lee Long of Village Drive in Granite Falls was arrested Sunday (March 26) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony counts of flee to elude arrest, breaking and entering, and larceny after breaking & entering. Long is also charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of stolen property, injury to personal property, and failure to appear on a misdemeanor.

Long also faces traffic charges including reckless driving to endanger. Following the arrest, Long was incarcerated in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $27,000 secured bond. A District Court date was scheduled today (March 27).
