47-year-old Jose Israel Reyes of Sunnyside Street in Granite Falls was arrested Tuesday (March 28) by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He was charged with first-degree statutory rape and jailed under a $100,000 secured bond. Reyes remains in the Caldwell County Detention Center as of this morning with a District Court date scheduled for March 30.
