36-year-old Matthew Howard Roark of Peachtree Lane in Granite Falls was arrested Tuesday (July 11) by Probation and Parole Officers. He was charged with one felony count probation violation and jailed under $20,000 secured bond. Roark remains in jail as of this morning with a Superior Court date scheduled for July 24. He was on probation as a result of conviction in Burke County in September 2021 for felony possession of schedule two controlled substance.
