Granite Falls Man Arrested on Charges from Randolph & Davidson Counties

33-year-old Paladan Trenidy Lail of Rocky Mount Road in Granite Falls was arrested by Hickory Police late Saturday night (September 11) on outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrants. Lail was wanted on two felony counts of breaking & entering a motor vehicle, along with misdemeanor counts of first-degree trespassing, larceny, possession of stolen goods, and injury to personal property. The trespassing charge was filed in Davidson County while all the other charges are from Randolph County. The warrants for his arrest were all issued in June of last year.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident at about 11:35 p.m. Saturday at a vehicle dealership on 13th Avenue Drive N.W. in Hickory. Lail was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility with bond set at $5,000, secured. He is no longer listed as an inmate in Catawba County. A District Court appearance in Asheboro was scheduled today (September 15) with another court date coming up on October 1 in Davidson County.
