Fugitive Arrested And Jailed Under More Than 200K Bond

34-year-old Tilden Trymaine Miller of Mooresville was arrested Monday (April 10) by the U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Statesville Police Department.

Miller had outstanding orders for arrest for failing to appear on the following charges: robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, habitual felon, obtaining property by false pretense, first-degree burglary, felony larceny, and an outstanding warrant for arrest for resisting a public officer.

The charges stem from an investigation conducted by the Statesville Police Department Patrol Division in 2020. Miller’s criminal history includes multiple convictions in Iredell County dating back to 2010. He’s been convicted of crimes including felony sale of schedule II controlled substance, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Miller was placed in the Iredell County Detention Center where he remained as of earlier today (April 13) under $235,500 secured bond. A Superior Court appearance is scheduled for May 1.
