46 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed today (December 11) in Burke County, increasing the county’s total to 4,946, with 75 deaths. There were 25 people hospitalized in Burke County with the coronavirus. The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services reported 7,540 new COVID-19 cases today, the highest single-day total since the start of the pandemic.
