Four Suspects Charged In Theft Of Construction Supplies

27-year-old Luis Parravicini, 47-year-old Carlos Cribillero, 53-year-old Wifredo Briceno, and 32-year-old Christopher Alsamora, all of Charlotte, were all arrested by Troutman Police Officers. They’re all charged with felony larceny.

Last Tuesday (January 22) officers responded to a report of a suspicious van and the loading of construction supplies in the area of new home construction in the Sutters Mill neighborhood. While responding to the scene officers found the vehicle described by the caller on Charlotte Highway and conducted a traffic stop.

Inside the vehicle, police found construction material valued at $50,000. The four occupants of the vehicle, the suspects, were placed under arrest. They were taken before a magistrate where they were each ordered held on a $15,000 secured bond.

Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center staff learned that all four individuals are currently in the United States illegally from Peru and immigration detainers have been issued by the Department of Homeland Security. All four suspects are scheduled to appear in court February 14.
